AMCA
The Air Movement and Control Association International (AMCA) announced that the Board of Standards Review of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has approved AMCA Standard 230-99, Laboratory Methods of Testing Air Circulator Fans for Ratings, as an American National Standard. It is now called ANSI/AMCA Standard 230-99.Also, AMCA Publication 111-99, Laboratory Accreditation Program, has been revised, approved by the membership, and ratified by the AMCA board. The purpose of the accreditation program is to provide a means for laboratories to be qualified for testing products in accordance with AMCA standard test methods or other methods recognized by AMCA.
