FALLS CHURCH, Va. - This year, reports the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors- National Association (PHCC), more than $70,000 in scholarships will be awarded to students who are enrolled in a major directly related to the plumbing-heating-cooling (p-h-c) profession. Applications are now being accepted for the PHCC Educational Foundation, Bradford White Corporation, and Delta Faucet Company scholarship programs.

The purpose of these scholarship programs is to help students prepare for careers in the p-h-c field. Scholarships are available to students who are enrolled in a full-time certificate or degree program with a major directly related to the p-h-c profession in: (1) a PHCC-approved plumbing or HVAC apprenticeship program; (2) an accredited two-year community college, technical college, or trade school; or (3) an accredited four-year college or university. Students enrolled in a PHCC-approved apprenticeship program must also be working full-time for a licensed plumbing or HVAC contractor who is a member of PHCC.
