ASHTABULA, OH — Apple Heating, Inc., headquartered here, has been awarded the Air Conditioning Contractors of Ohio (ACCO) 2002 Contractor of the Year Award. Apple Heating is a member of Excellence Alliance, Inc. (EAI), a Cincinnati-based organization of independent mechanical contractors.

According to EAI, Apple Heating was selected for this award based on its contributions to the state association, and specifically for work in promoting the North American Technical Excellence (NATE) program and Specialty Contractor Licensing.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by our peers in the state organization,” said Apple Heating president Scott Robinson. “There have been a lot of people at Apple Heating that contributed to our winning of this award. I would like to specifically mention service manager Stan Zwaduk, who designed our NATE training program.”
