Dec. 13, 2002: NADCA Launches New Training Programs

WASHINGTON, DC — The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) will launch three educational tracks and three new training programs at Indoor Environments 2003, scheduled for March 4-8, at the Wyndham Bonaventure Resort & Spa in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Attendees will take part in sessions on commercial, residential, and business operations tailored to their needs, as well as the HVAC industry at-large. Breakout sessions will be offered following these tracks, which the organization said will allow participants to focus on the part of their business they want to grow and improve.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Frank Sanders, director of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) Antimicrobials Division. Sanders will address the concerns generated by the EPA’s recent letter regarding the use of antimicrobial products and clarifying the EPA’s position on the use of antimicrobial products in HVAC systems.

Training opportunities will include a two-day program for certified air systems cleaning specialists, a one-day course focusing on containment, and a training and certifying program for HVAC system inspectors.
