Copeland: screw compressor

The Contour™ screw compressor line has been expanded with a new infinite capacity control model. The company’s patented screw design allows infinite or four-step adjustment to meet the temperature control demands of today’s a/c systems, the company says. The new model features a slider valve that provides infinite capacity control from 25% to 100%. Models for high-temperature a/c applications currently range from 50 to 90 hp, and will be expanded to 40 to 140 hp in 2001. Other features include optimized profile form and high motor efficiency, says the manufacturer. Copeland Corp., 1675 W.
