The Contour™ screw compressor line has been expanded with a new infinite capacity control model. The company’s patented screw design allows infinite or four-step adjustment to meet the temperature control demands of today’s a/c systems, the company says. The new model features a slider valve that provides infinite capacity control from 25% to 100%. Models for high-temperature a/c applications currently range from 50 to 90 hp, and will be expanded to 40 to 140 hp in 2001.
