Congress Does Act On Security And Bioterrorism
A total of $8.3 billion was provided for security measures as part of a spending bill for the U.S. Department of Defense that both the Senate and House approved. In addition, bioterrorism legislation was passed by the Senate just before departing that must be worked out with a House bill that was passed earlier in December.
