TROY, Mich. - Clear Seas Research released four Clear reports to the HVAC industry. According to the company, understanding the state of the HVAC industry provides contractors with a business advantage for 2008. These reports are based on responses from HVAC contractors and wholesalers across the United States and are filled with “valuable data in easy-to-read charts with concise analysis and summaries.”

The 2007 Ductwork Systems report examines the familiarity and brand satisfaction for duct connectors, duct liners, prefabricated ducts, and accessories based on the opinions, preferences and purchasing behaviors of contractors.

The 2008 HVAC Brand Awareness report provides insight into brand awareness and image of residential heating/cooling equipment manufacturers and examines the factors influencing brand consideration, factors driving purchasing decisions, and most common brands purchased. It also includes trended data from 2007.

The 2007 Unitary Trends report is designed to understand the changes occurring in the residential and light commercial heating/cooling industry. It provides insight into the industry’s future leaders, brand-switching behavior, the growing employment of Spanish-speaking technicians and installers, etc.

This biannual report includes trended data since 1999. The 2007 Water Heater report, trended from 2006, examines the tank and instantaneous/tankless water heater industry based on the opinions, preferences, and purchasing behavior of plumbing contractors.
