CDs Prep Instructors

DES PLAINES, Ill. - RSES announced the release of Core Essentials, the third title in the Preparing for the NATE Exam Instructor CD series. The series of CDs is designed to help RSES chapters and HVAC instructors prepare students for the North American Technician Excellence (NATE) Core exam.

The Preparing for the NATE Exam: Core Essentials Instructor CD utilizes Microsoft PowerPoint software and allows educators to conduct anywhere from two- to eight-hour review sessions. The CD contains a complete overview of all materials covered in the Preparing for the NATE Exam: Core Essentials study book.

The CD, which features some 570 slides and answers to all review questions, is a tool for instructors who have extensive knowledge in the field and who seek an outline as part of a program of NATE exam review for the Core exam - which is required by NATE for certification (in addition to passing a specialty exam). Topics covered in the Preparing for the NATE Exam: Core Essentials Instructor CD include soft skills, trade tools, safety, heat and matter, electrical fundamentals, transformers and motors, electrical diagrams, test instruments, and others.
