The Edge™ Performance Series thermostats have interchangeable faceplates that can turn the high-tech controls into home fashion accessories. Faceplates are available finished in silver metallic, espresso leather, gold luster, saddle brush, wood grain, and onyx. The thermostats have only two wires that need hooking up - making installation easier - and they are eight-tenths of an inch thick. Available in programmable and nonprogrammable versions, the products feature a large display showing indoor temperature, outdoor temperature, and time; an interchangeable door that hides the control buttons; backlit buttons with chrome detail; chrome beading around the display for a jeweled appearance; and an Edge Expansion Port (EXP) to accommodate a digital memory card that homeowners can use to program the thermostat on their computer.
