Beverly named editor of Engineered Systems

TROY, Mich. — Engineered Systems, a sister publication of The NEWS, has named Robert Beverly as its new editor. Beverly previously had served as associate editor for the monthly magazine. He replaces Mark Skaer, now the editor of The NEWS.

Engineered Systems is a monthly magazine for hvacr system engineers and facility owners/managers.

“I am excited about the opportunity to further ES’ success,” said Beverly. “We will continue to look for new ways to make the magazine more helpful to readers.”

He cited engineers’ increasing use of computers as one area of industry growth, with the ES Web site (www.esmaga zine.com) having particular potential for increased use.

Beverly is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia and an avid music fan. He edited a number of regional lifestyle publications before coming to ES.
