Aug. 26, 2010: HTS Texas Expands Engineering and Sales Team

August 26, 2010

HOUSTON - HTS Texas, a provider of custom heating and cooling solutions to the commercial, industrial, and residential markets, has announced the appointment of five new staff members to support its growth across the state of Texas.

“We are delighted to add a handful of exceptional engineering and sales team members, who together bring more than 85 years of expertise to our company,” said Mike Donovan, principal of HTS Texas. “Their professionalism, extensive experience in the engineering sales industry, and client-service proficiency greatly add to the HTS Texas team.”

Dwayne Blevins joins the company as a system sales representative in San Antonio, where he is responsible for engineering technical solutions for multimillion-dollar commercial and industrial construction projects. Prior to joining HTS Texas, he was a team leader and business representative for Trane for nearly 17 years in San Antonio, Austin and Knoxville, Tenn. Blevins also served as chairman and executive director of Lighthouse Assistance Inc. in Austin and was a regional sales manager at Ceramic Technologies Inc. in Richlands, Va.

John Graham, a system sales representative in San Antonio, brings more than 10 years of HVAC sales experience to HTS Texas with a track record of building and growing relationships with contractors, engineers, and building owners. Graham has a strong technical background in airflow and refrigeration cycle, is certified in air conditioning and heat pumps by North American Technician Excellence (NATE), and is National Comfort Institute (NCI)-certified in airflow and duct design.

Ashley Heisler, a sales engineer with the Austin office of HTS Texas since 2008, has switched roles to become the company’s marketing and training coordinator. Heisler brings nearly four years of engineering experience to her new role, having served as an application engineer with National Instruments and an engineering sales intern with Eaton Electrical and Schlumberger.

Chris Revering, a project manager with HTS Texas in Austin, has more than 20 years of experience in electrical engineering. Most recently, he was a senior project manager at Facilities Resource Inc., where he served as strategic master space planner for Advanced Micro Devices’ (AMD) corporate real estate department. Revering also was a sales engineer at Peak Pure Air and a facilities coordinator at National Instruments.

David Schurk, director of heath care markets, brings 30 years of HVAC sales experience with two of the nation’s largest manufacturers to the Houston office of HTS Texas. A Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-accredited professional, Schurk has extensive commercial product expertise, is a licensed designer of engineered systems and is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Association of Energy Engineers, and Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES).

HTS Texas customizes solutions for HVAC and process cooling requirements and represents manufacturers McQuay, Daikin, Haakon, and more. For more information, visit www.htseng.com.
