Aug. 10, 2010: Component Hardware Group Launches Keil Refrigeration Hardware

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Component Hardware Group (CHG) has announced the launch of Keil® Refrigeration Hardware to manufacture parts for foodservice refrigeration units. According to CHG, the new products offered by Keil address such customer needs as easier installation procedures, increased energy efficiencies, and decreased operational costs for commercial foodservice refrigeration units.

According to the company, the CHG and Keil development team has created a line of revolutionary, low-wattage LED light fixtures for walk-in coolers and freezers. The fixtures can save operators anywhere from 50 to 80 percent on the operating costs of conventional incandescent and fluorescent lights, without sacrificing light output, said Keil. They also lower overall maintenance costs with extended service life.

In addition to innovations in LED lighting, Keil said it has also introduced a new narrow profile vent port, which utilizes a specialized heating technology to prevent the vent port flaps from freezing. This compact and energy-efficient vent port makes it easier for operators to open and close walk-in cooler and freezer doors, while consuming only 9 watts of power.

“We believe the Keil product line is game changing for the foodservice refrigeration industry,” said Harry Franze, Component Hardware Group CEO. “Anyone can make a standard hinge or handle for a refrigerator, but Keil components offer true advancements and craftsmanship unlike anything the industry has seen in more than 30 years.”
