• The Air Movement and Control Association International (AMCA International) announces that Guangzhou Kruger M&E Industries, Ltd. from the Peoples Republic of China is now participating in its Certified Ratings Program. AMCA International recently licensed five centrifugal fans. The fans, Models BDA, FDA, KAT, BSA, and FAS, are licensed for air performance and sound rating.

  • AMCA International also announces that All-Lite Louvers of Fort Worth, TX is now participating in its Certified Ratings Program. The organization recently licensed Models 440-EFD, 445-EFD, 437-EFJ, 445-EFJ, 437 EFK, 445-EFK, 545-ECD, and 637-ETD for air performance and water penetration.

  • In addition, AMCA International announces that Essick Air Products of Little Rock, AR is now participating in its Certified Ratings Program. The association recently licensed the Model SES/SED and ES/ED evaporative coolers for air performance.

  • The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) will present a session on “Hvac Duct Inspection” at the 2001 Joint Conference of the Building Officials and Code Administrators International (BOCA) and the International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO) in Cincinnati, OH, September 17 to 20.

  • The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) announces four appointments to its staff: Angie Mantei to member services representative, education; Ann-Marie Viau to member services representative, accounting; Cynthia Spicer to member services representative, reception; and Andrea Goddard, member services representative, RMC (Refrigerant Management Canada).
