Arzel Zoning Technology selected Matt Pearson, a student at the Auburn Career Center, as the recipient of its NATE testing scholarship. This is the second year the Cleveland-based manufacturer has awarded such a scholarship to a student at the Concord Township, Ohio-based school.

“Arzel recognizes the role manufacturers play not only to provide the products necessary for contractors to be successful but also in developing the skilled technicians needed to install and service our products,” said Joe Hlavacek, director of marketing for Arzel Zoning.

Arzel recently provided the center a zoning system for its lab, along with training its instructors on the operation and installation procedures of zoning. A member of the Arzel technical support team participates on the school’s advisory committee.
