Arteche PQ Inc.: Sine Wave Filters

The sine wave filters accomplish both dv/dt and sine wave filtering for virtually any submersible motor. Converting pulse width modulation (PWM) voltage to sine wave voltage allows for higher efficiency and greater motor protection, regardless of motor cable length. The new filters return the PWM voltage to a sine wave, thus protecting motors for increased motor life. The new catalog includes standard ratings up to 690-V motors for various PWM carrier frequencies. When required, the company can supply medium-voltage filters (for 2,300- and 4,160-V motors) as well as filters for any desired PWM carrier frequency.
