American Residential Services L.L.C. (ARS), a privately held, nationwide provider of HVAC services, has purchased Jacksonville, Fla.-based Florida Home Air Conditioning Co. as part of its strategy for continued growth through acquisitions.

“Joining the ARS family gives us the opportunity to grow the company and add depth to our services,” said Bryan Craun, former owner/now general manager of Florida Home Air Conditioning. “Our customers will continue to receive the same high-quality service that we have always provided, but now we can further elevate their experience with the support and resources of a national company.”

Florida Home Air Conditioning has been a provider of air conditioning and heating services in Florida since 1993 and serves Jacksonville, Orange Park, the beaches, and St. Augustine. Craun and his staff will remain with the company, it was reported.

“ARS is currently focused on growth through the addition of quality service providers as we continue to expand nationwide,” said Dave Slott, president and chief operating officer of American Residential Services. “We selected Florida Home Air Conditioning Company because its commitment to quality and exceptional service coincides with our strategic vision for growth nationwide. Expanding into north Florida also reflects our commitment to service key growth markets.”
