After a simple installation, restaurant operators can see, track, and control, in real time, how their air conditioning and heating is being used. Restaurateurs can operate the system through a wireless touch pad or virtually anywhere via a Web or PDA interface. EcoView Commercial customers are provided with dedicated account managers operating from the company’s own 24/7 network monitoring center, further aiding the restaurant operator’s energy-saving efforts. The account managers take over the responsibility of temperature control and help customers to establish temperature set points and climate control schedules. Also, the account managers monitor and adjust usage to maximize cost savings from energy reductions while maintaining comfortable temperatures for the specific building environment. Additional sensors are available for sensing water consumption and virtually any other energy-consuming device, said the company.
