Poker Tournament Fundraiser Announced for Joseph Groh Foundation
Organization aids those connected with the construction trades who are living with life altering injuries
GRAPEVINE, Texas — A Texas hold’em poker tournament benefiting the Joseph Groh Foundation has been announced for Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, at the Winstar Casino Poker Room, 777 Casino Ave., Thackerville, OK 73459.
The tournament is being held to raise money for the nonprofit organization’s mission to provide financial support to those connected with the construction trades including HVAC who are living with life altering injuries.
Sign in is from 1 to 3 p.m., with start time at 3 p.m. Buy in is $150 for $5,000 in chips. Tournament structure is: $5,000 in starting chips (extra $1,000 in chips if registered and pre-paid by Jan. 15); 20 minute levels; re-entry allowed for the first three levels; 10 percent of the field will be paid. The tournament ends at 6 p.m.
