The Speedfit® family of Twist & Lock Fittings has been expanded with the introduction of new Speedfit Secure shut-off valves, in a clean white design. The lead-free friendly valves are available in 1/2- and 3/4-inch copper tube size (CTS) sizes. The valves come with a unique patented locking device which eliminates the possibility of an accidental pipe release. A firm 1/4-inch turn handle on top of the valve prevents any unwanted movement. Speedfit Secure shut-off valves can be used with copper, CVPC, or PEX pipe and are suitable for hot and cold water plumbing/heating and water filtration/softening applications. Working pressures and temperatures for the valves are listed at 160 psi at 73°F; 100 psi at 180°, and 80 psi at 200°.
