Nevada Has a Blackout in the Las Vegas Valley

  • Recently, Nevada experienced near-record temperatures that caused a 45-min blackout for 10,000 power customers in the Las Vegas Valley. Officials from the Nevada Power Co. said that this event was a reminder that energy conservation is important.
