ARLINGTON, Va. — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has scheduled its first National HVACR Residential Sales Managers Forum for March 26-27 at the Hilton St Louis at the Ballpark in St Louis.

According to ACCA, this new two-day event is a first of its kind, offering exclusive training designed by contractors for the people responsible for sales in residential HVACR contracting businesses.

“Sales is the lifeblood of any contracting business,” said Ray Isaac, ACCA’s current national chairman and president of Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning, Rochester, N.Y. “But with the economy causing jitters in communities all over the country, now more than ever HVACR contractors will depend on successfully closing sales with qualified leads for residential add-on and replacement. This new event will make it easier for contractors to get those sales by firing up their team members with first-rate training designed especially for residential sales professionals.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in six training classes, designed and taught by successful contractors and experts, including:

• Building Sales with Qualified Customers: Identifying, Qualifying, Closing

• Managing a High-Performance Team

• Pricing for Profit and Value

• Selling for High Efficiency and High Value

• Customer for Life: From Service to Sales

• Selling to Women and Couples

In the opening session of the forum, leading marketing consultant Jim Ackerman will show attendees “How to Get Customers to Pay You More Money, More Often.” And at the closing session, nationally-known sales expert Larry Johnson will explain “Winning the Word of Mouth Game,” to help attendees turn their customers into part of their sales force.
