New Luxaire®-brand DL/DU Series rooftop units are commercial, packaged heating and cooling units with dual compressors, says the company. They are available in 6 1/2, 7 1/2, 8 1/2, 10-, and 12 1/2-ton capacities. The rooftops are offered in multiple configurations: cooling only, cooling with electric heat, and cooling with gas heat and heat pump. All gas/electric units perform in two-stage heating operation, 60% heating capacity at first stage, with 40% additional at second stage. The units feature two compressors with independent refrigeration circuits charged with HCFC-22.
