The E7L HVAC AC drive/bypass system features embedded communications for building automation system (BAS) protocols, including Johnson Controls Metasys® N2, Siemens Apogee™ FLN, and Modbus. The drive/bypass capabilities allow the motor to be operated from either the E7 drive or at full speed, directly across the line. Its parameter selection allows BAS applications to be managed for energy efficiency and closed-loop control without consuming BAS points. Optional software allows uploading/downloading, as well as graphing and monitoring of drive parameters from a PC. The drive/bypass system features inputs for safety interlocks, auto run/stop, BAS/damper, remote transfer, smoke purge, 0-10 VDC or 4-20 mA speed signal, and an RS-422/485 communication port.
