Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006: Laars Shows New Wall-Hung Boiler

CHICAGO - The new wall-mounted, condensing Mascot boiler from Laars is said to offer high efficiency and versatility in a small package. The low NOx, sealed-combustion, fully-modulating system is available in three sizes: 126, 167, and 242 MBH input. The Mascot provides 96 percent system efficiency at high-fire. The 126 MBH unit has optional DHW heating.

Multiple boilers may be installed together to handle larger sized heating loads, and can be stage-fired. Preassembled water manifolds are available for commercial, multiple-boiler installations.

The boiler is designed for ease of installation and serviceability, with built-in condensate trap and auto air-elimination vent. Each boiler comes with an installation kit that includes boiler and optional DHW gas piping, and all necessary connections, isolation valves, and unions.
