Viconics Electronics Inc.: HEAT PUMP THERMOSTAT
The CBE118 is a nonprogrammable, microprocessor-based heat pump thermostat that is designed to integrate all functions into one unit, the manufacturer says. Features include built-in humidity control, filter cleaning reminder time, and PI control logic. The unit also includes an outdoor air sensor to act as an interlock to cut out compressor, auxiliary heating, and cooling operation depending on outdoor temperature, and a plenum sensor to eliminate cold air drafts during defrost mode, says the company.
