The VentureClad 1577CW, a cooler repair tape, offers high performance in cold temperatures. It is a zero perm, washable, conformable, mold-resistant cooler repair tape that can be applied in temperatures well below zero. The tape is a hybrid of the VentureClad outdoor product and is specifically designed for refrigeration repair, making maintenance easier and helping facility owners avoid costly shutdowns. It is coated with the manufacturer’s special CW cold weather acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive system. VentureClad combines quick stick at normal temperatures with superior low-temperature performance down to -10°F. The tape comes in white or silver and has mold inhibitors. In addition to in-store refrigeration units and walk-in coolers, the tape can be used to repair cooler light fixtures, industrial food and beverage storage units, refrigerated trucks, and any institutional food service storage areas where metal surfaces are exposed to cold. It is embossed and adheres well to the embossed surfaces many cooler units have.
