U.S. Energy Group Releases App

U.S. Energy Group’s new iPhone app - USE-Mobile - allows real-time remote monitoring and control of essential building systems.

FRESH MEADOWS, N.Y. - U.S. Energy Group released a new app - USE-Mobile. This app provides property managers with the ability to control their buildings with their mobile devices, including iPhones, Blackberrys, and other smart phones. The USE-Mobile iPhone application harnesses the power of the company’s USE Manager™ system and brings real-time status and building control directly into the hands of property managers. It runs on both the iPhone and iPod Touch providing constant information and immediate remote control of building systems.

“USE-Mobile is an example of an emerging trend in building management,” said David Unger, COO of U.S. Energy Group.

“Portfolios are getting larger and managers need the tools to effectively and efficiently manage them. With this app, we are giving them an unprecedented level of access and control.”

Features include real-time status of critical boiler information; ability to remotely turn boiler on/off; provide additional heat when needed; full system integration with the USE-Controller (EMS) and patented Verifier® digital fuel gauge; and a strong user-interface design.

According to the company, the USE-Mobile iPhone application is an essential tool for building managers interested in saving fuel and money and is free for USE Manager users.
