ORLANDO, Fla. - At the AHR Expo, Airedale is launching its ClassMate High Efficiency (HE) unit, a vertical packaged air conditioning unit for classrooms that meets the upcoming 13 SEER standard and incorporates refrigerant R-410A.

According to the company, the unit is designed to provide a healthy school environment, drawing in the proper amount of fresh outdoor air while minimizing energy consumption.

In achieving 13 SEER with the new HE version, Airedale has incorporated for the first time in the ClassMate a two-stage scroll compressor to offer part load facility. Other features include enhanced control and dehumidification, and a compact footprint.
