The UniGas 3000 is a compact, palm-held flue gas analyzer that permits combustion analysis, boiler tuning, emissions monitoring, and auxiliary test and inspections, says the company. Two electrochemical sensors read the oxygen and carbon monoxide concentra-tions. These values, combined with the flue gas and combustion air temperatures, are used to calculate the efficiency, excess air, and carbon dioxide. A third sensor is used to measure the pollutant NO, NO2, or S02 as may be required, the company says.
