TradePower Hosts User Conference In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — TradePower, an e-business solutions provider for the construction industry headquartered in Linthicum Heights, MD, hosted its 2001 User Conference for distributors here, the first since its recent merger with Trade Service Systems. The conference was held October 20-24 at the Wyndham Franklin Plaza.

More than 150 distributors who use TradePower’s enterprise business systems for suppliers convened to participate in educational seminars, demonstrations, open-forum discussions, and one-on-one meetings presented by the firm’s executives and staff members.

This year’s event included guest speakers and exhibitors from i2 Technologies, Kennedy Electric, Cyberscience, IDEA, and Informediate. The keynote speaker was Adam J. Fein, Ph.D., Pembroke Consulting, Inc., who discussed topics including “Building a Customer-Driven Technology Strategy” and “Planning and Predicting Future Business Climate.” The presentations and seminars were structured to address the various aspects from a distributor perspective.
