For this chemical processing laboratory, the goal was to install textile air diffusers and new fume hoods to solve the laboratory’s cross-draft, high-velocity ventilation challenges, which included temperature and relative humidity swings of 10°F and 30 percent, relatively, in its laboratory area.
Comprised of natural cotton composed of recycled denim, the EcoShield is a natural fiber insulation. According to the manufacturer, the liner provides superb sound absorption, consistent thermal performance, and is IAQ friendly.
