Designed specifically for refrigeration applications where reliable cooling is required under varying loads and operating conditions, the Generation III outdoor air-cooled condensing units contain one of the manufacturer’s compressors built to handle the rigors of commercial refrigeration.
The Copeland Scroll™ FFAP Series condensing unit utilizes the Copeland Scroll ZSKA refrigeration compressor (1.5 to 5 hp) and is compatible with a variety of refrigerants, including R-404A, R-134a, R-407C, and R-22. It also has a wide operating range (from -30° to 45°F) of evaporator temperatures.
Tecumseh used last fall’s Chillventa expo in Nuremberg, Germany, to highlight a number of its developments in commercial refrigeration. Among the announcements made at the event, the company showed a new range of condensing units equipped with semi-hermetic compressors.
