TLV Corp.: Steam, Condensate Manifolds
The VSDM and VCCM steam distribution and condensate collection manifolds can be used for any steam tracing or condensate recovery applications, states the company. According to the manufacturer, the manifolds reduce backpressure and prevent destructive two-phase flow into condensate return piping with a full 1-inch siphon construction within the 3-inch manifold. Installation with a built-in blowdown and freeze connection is recommended by the company for all climates. The manifolds are available in trap sizes up to 1 inch, with NPT or SW connections; flanged connections are available by special order.
