“TaskMaster” workforce automation software for hand-held computers simplifies and documents compliance for hvac maintenance inspections, says the company. The software provides a user-defined database that tracks required inspection intervals, establishes test parameters, and lists the tasks required for completing inspection or maintenance procedures. Using a handheld computer, the system records the date, time, location, activity, associated readings, corrective actions, and the bar code identity associated with the device being inspected. The gathered data may then be downloaded to a PC.
