The Ultra-Aire Model 150H air-purifying dehumidifier is a ventilating dehumidifier designed to provide maximum indoor air quality, says the company. The unit is said to provide the key components of healthy indoor air: fresh air ventilation, particulate filtration, and humidity control. Its high-capacity dehumidifier can remove over 17 gal of water per day (at 80°F, 60% rh) while using only 12 A of electricity (120 V), the company says. The unit recirculates air from the building, blending in fresh air during ventilation mode. The air is then filtered, dehumidified, and introduced into the ductwork for distribution. The horizontal unit is for residential and light commercial applications.
