The high-efficiency Smart Comfort™ IIS 90 gas furnaces provide improved comfort of two-stage operation with conventional multispeed PSC blower motors, the company states. These models reduce the temperature swings common with short furnace cycles, especially on days warmer than design temperatures, says the manufacturer. According to the manufacturer, the fully insulated cabinet provides sound enhancement and thermal efficiency. This multiposition furnace can be installed in upflow, downflow, horizontal-left or horizontal-right configurations, in natural gas models ranging from 50,000 Btuh through 125,000 Btuh input. LP gas conversion kits are available.
