TDIndustries Receives Award

Approximately 50 TDPartners were invovled in the recent Manufacturing Equipment Installation (MEI) project at Texis Instrument's South Building, which included 23 installs, 51 relocations, and 39 wreck-outs.

DALLAS - TDIndustries received Texas Instruments’ (TI) prestigious Supplier Excellence Award (SEA), based on its outstanding performance and continuous improvement in providing goods and services to TI. This is the firm’s second award. SEA recipients are an elite group of suppliers chosen for their performance in six areas including cost, environmental responsibility, technology, responsiveness, assurance of supply, and quality (CETRAQ).

“We are honored to have received this special recognition. When you work in a mission critical environment, you have to cover every base,” said Jason Cinek, vice president of technology for TDIndustries. “Attention to detail is paramount, and the CETRAQ standards are TI’s top indices for success. We believe our focus on safety, quality, productivity, and technical knowledge helped us win this award.”

Each supplier-nominee is evaluated by TI’s Worldwide Procurement & Logistics team and TI business personnel. Nominations for the SEA are made by TI employees, but can be challenged by anyone throughout TI worldwide. From TI’s base of over 15,000 suppliers, only 24 earned this honor in 2006.

“The TI Supplier Excellence Award recognizes our TDPartners who truly care about the overall success and satisfaction of our customers,” said Jeff Riddle, executive vice president of TDIndustries. “We were also very fortunate to work with great leadership at TI, including Steve McQuay, facilities manager, and Kenneth Abernathy, project manager, and their teams.”
