The Plus Two multipurpose valve combines all the valve functions required on the discharge side of a centrifugal pump in a hydronic heating or cooling system into one body. It combines several valves in one unit including a shutoff valve, nonslam check valve, balancing valve, and a flow metering valve. It can be installed horizontally or vertically for use with a vertical in-line pump or a base-mounted suction pump. It is field-convertible from a straight pattern to a 90-degree angle pattern, too. Made of ductile iron with stainless steel and bronze and bronze-fitted construction, the valve is available with 125-psi working pressure and 250-psi working pressure with the same connections; both types offer flanged or grooved end connections.
