A line of accessories is available that is designed to optimize the capabilities of the company’s i3™ Series of photoelectric smoke detectors. The series includes both two-wire and four-wire photoelectric detectors, which are available with or without a fixed 135°F thermal sensor. The loop test/maintenance module interprets the remote maintenance signal, provides a visual indication when the two-wire detector requires cleaning, and transmits the maintenance signal to the panel. The sensitivity reader dramatically simplifies sensitivity measurement using an infrared signal and measures detectors in seconds. The reversing relay/synchronization module allows all sounder detectors on the loop to sound when one alarms by reversing the polarity to the detector zone and synchronizes all detectors on the loop to ensure a clear, audible signal. The removal tool simplifies servicing of detectors by attaching to a standard extension pole or broom handle. The adapter bracket provides a professional finished appearance for retrofit installations; it covers up unsightly rings and unfinished surfaces.
