The Innovairâ„¢ is a UL-listed, watertight duct smoke detector. According to the manufacturer, the Low-Flow technology provides wide smoke detection in airspeeds as low as 100 feet per minute (fpm) and up to 4,000 fpm, preventing the spread of dangerous combustion gases and reducing property damage. Smoke detection is provided in VAV boxes and fire/smoke damper locations. The unit's self-diagnostics ensures operating integrity. Features include a patented cover tamper trouble signal, telescopic sampling tube, and interconnectability for multifan shutdown. The smoke detector meets NEC and NFPA requirements.
