The new DV 47 and DV 57 models are said to be the first compact brazed heat exchangers (CBEs) to offer true dual-circuit flexibility, where the user can choose to run one or both of the refrigerant circuits with full heat transfer, according to the manufacturer. With the new, patented DV construction, each refrigerant circuit is in contact with all water channels, and if one is shut off, the water channels remain in contact with the refrigerant, to maintain full heat transfer efficiency even at part load, says the company. The DV 47 is designed for cooling capacities up to 50 tons and the DV 57 up to 100 tons.
