Streamlight Inc.: Leak Detection Flashlights
The Stylus® UV and Twin-Task® 3C UV are Ultraviolet (UV) flashlights for detecting leaks in HVACR units. The ultra-slim Stylus penlight permits technicians to spot small leaks inside equipment. It features a 375-nanometer LED and weighs 1.1 ounces. The Twin-Task 3C UV is both an incandescent flashlight and UV light. According to the manufacturer, both lights are comparable to UV filters that HVACR technicians use for illuminating fluorescent dyes. It is available in two models. The black model provides three 375-nanometer LEDs and three 390-nanometer LEDs. The titanium model has six 390-nanometer LEDs.
