ST. LOUIS, MO — A construction team which included the Murphy Co., headquartered here, has received the 2001 Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) Award of Excellence for its University of Colorado Hospital Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO. The project category was “Best Project — Private Sector over $15 million.”

The building is a 476,000 sq-ft, eight-story ambulatory care center that was designed and built in 24 months. Murphy’s portion of the $110 million project was $17 million for the design and construction of the hvac, medical gas, and plumbing systems.
