Spirax Sarco Inc.: Condensate Pump Trap

The APT 10-4.5 automatic condensate pump trap is designed to function as both a condensate trap and a pump. The unit also can be used as a small condensate return pump for open systems. It has an installation head of 8 inches from grade. The steam-powered pump function provides up to a 134-foot lift of condensate up to 311 degrees F (155 degrees C), under a maximum system pressure of 65 psig and back pressure up to 58 psig. In systems operating above 65 psig, the pump trap can be connected in parallel with a float trap for condensate removal. The unit works under steam vacuum conditions, too. It provides 2,022 pounds/hour of trapping capacity and 1,420 pounds/hour of pumping capacity.
