Spectronics Corp.: Refrigerant Leak Dye

AR-GLO/E® universal fluorescent dye can be used with any refrigerant and with mineral oil, polyolester, and alkyl benzene lubricants. The dye is added to the system circulated with the refrigerant and oil, escapes at the leaks, and remains at those sites. The dye remains in the system for future inspections. The EZ-Ject™ multiple-dose dye injector or single-dose Glo-Stick® capsules are used for small to medium-sized AC&R units. The BigEZ™ multiple-dose dye injector is designed for medium to large AC&R systems. For large systems, such as supermarkets and refrigerated warehouses, the Mist Infuser™ pump injector is recommended.
