Each of two EZ-Ject™ dye injection kits features the EZ-50 dye injector assembly, an a/c hose/coupler with check valve and ¼-inch flare low-loss fitting, two EZ-Ject dye cartridges, and a purge fitting. The compact dye injector is easy to use because it requires only one connection to add dye into an air conditioning or refrigeration system, says the company. The dye cartridges are calibrated to provide precision dosing, so there are no messy spills or wasted dye. Each cartridge contains enough AR-GLO® fluorescent dye to treat two gallons (7.6 liters) of lubricant, 25 pounds (11.3 kilograms) of refrigerant, or 12 tons of cooling. The EZ-100/ECS contains two universal/POE dye cartridges for all air conditioning and refrigeration systems, while the EZ-100CS has two cartridges for mineral oil lubricant systems.
