The ESP-V Series vertical cooling-heat pump unit provides central heating and cooling in a vertical, space-saving design for condos and homes built on a slab with no basement or attic, says the company. Offered in capacities from 2 to 5 tons, the unit features a larger coil for higher efficiency (12+ SEER), an aluminum drain pan to resist corrosion, and a compact internal control box, the company says. The high-velocity system uses narrow, flexible tubing that can be run through closets or between walls and ceilings, enabling easy installation without costly renovations, says the manufacturer.
