Solaronics, Inc.: LOADING DOCK/CARWASH HEATER
The stainless steel DoorJet heater resists wet, corrosive conditions typically found at car washes and outdoor loading docks and platforms of industrial plants, repair facilities, and warehouses, says the company. According to the company, the heater produces a high velocity “jet” of heated air, which is directed automatically toward outside bay doors as they open. They can be mounted vertically to direct heat straight down for roll up or straight lift doors, or they can be mounted horizontally or angled for conventional lift doors. Models are available with input ratings of 550,000 to 950,000 Btuh. A single heater typically can serve a door opening up to about 12 by 12 ft, says the manufacturer.
