SMACNA Installs Committee

PHOENIX - The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) board of directors installed its executive committee to serve from Oct. 14, 2010, to Sept. 28, 2011. Their terms began Oct. 14 at the close of SMACNA’s 67th annual convention.

James M. Boone, president and CEO of New England Sheet Metal Works Inc. (Fresno, Calif.) was elected president. “I am proud to serve on the national board with a group of visionary leaders,” he said, “whose personal values, breadth of expertise, and high professional standards ensure that SMACNA will continue to wield both a powerful voice and energetic approach on the issues our industry will encounter in the years to come.”

The other new officers include Richard Rivera, president-elect; Howard Stine, secretary/treasurer; and Randy Novak, vice president. John Lindemulder Sr. was designated as immediate past president.
