Sid Harvey's Names Territory Managers

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - Long Island-based HVACR wholesale-distributor Sid Harvey's has appointed Chris LaPlante and Bob Moody as territory managers.

LaPlante has worked for the HVACR distributor since 1991 in a variety of sales positions, from sales rep to branch manager. In his new position, he will be responsible for coordinating sales and operational issues between branch managers in Sid Harvey's branches in upstate New York (Albany, Plattsburgh, Yorkville, Watertown) and Vermont (Rutland and Williston). He will be responsible for marketing strategies and account management with the branch managers and outside sales reps at each of these outlets.

Bob Moody
Moody has more than 10 years of industry experience, and his family is prominent in the wholesale heating business. In 1929, his grandfather established a distribution company on Long Island, where Moody also worked. In 2006, while managing Sid Harvey's Malden (Boston), Mass. branch, Moody was credited with increasing sales by more than 300 percent He holds a business management degree along with certification from various manufacturers such as Roth, Gastite, and Heatcraft.

Moody is responsible for overseeing sales and operations in eight branches in the New England area: Maine (Brewer, Presque Isle, and Portland), Massachusetts (Braintree, Danvers, Malden, and Worcester), and New Hampshire (Manchester).
